Warren Buffett, who is known as the “Oracle of Omaha,” is considered to be one of the most successful investors of all time. He first bought a stock at age 11. He runs Berkshire Hathaway, a holding company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The following will show the companies Warren Buffett is invested in.

The largest position of Warren Buffet’s investment portfolio is Apple (39.89%). It is by far Warren Buffett’s biggest investment position. The Bank of America is Warren Buffett`s second largest position (13.65%), followed by American Express (7.41%), Coca-Cola (7.03%) and Kraft Heinz (4.27%). Warren Buffett`s largest holdings account for almost 75% of his investment portfolio.

In the third quarter of 2020, Warren Buffett invested in the following companies: AbbVie, Merck & Co, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, Pfizer (all from the pharmaceutical sector), Snowflake (IT sector), and T-Mobile US (telecommunication sector). It stands out that four out of the six of Warren Buffett’s new investments are from the pharmaceutical sector.

At the same time, Warren Buffett reduced his positions in Apple and JPMorgan Chase & Co. and sold his shares of Costco Wholesale Corp. In September 2020, Warren Buffett invested in the Japanese companies Itochu Corp., Marubeni Corp., Mitsubishi Corp., Mitsui & Co. Ltd., and Sumitomo Corp.

In the fourth quarter of 2020, Warren Buffett added Verizon and Chevron to his investment portfolio. The position of Pfizer was sold in the same quarter.
